FoMD Summer Research Poster

Based on my work at the BLINC Lab during the summer of 2025, I created a poster for the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry (FoMD)’s 58th Annual Summer Students’ Research Day.

I specifically designed my poster to be different from the others at the event. This is largely because what I worked on (developing a visual data pipeline for the HANDi Hand), is quite dissimilar from the work of the other presenters. I figured it wouldn’t hurt to make a very unique poster.

When designing my poster, I aimed to:

  • Minimize text.

  • Emphasize how information flows to and from the camera / HANDi Hand.

  • Explain as little as possible, encouraging viewers/judges to ask me questions.
